LISTENING CD is a studio-made recording of "The Big Trip" musical. Since this CD includes every song and word of dialogue, it serves as an excellent tool for individual practice. It features the complete dialogue, instrumentation and vocals. This is considered a "Full Mix" or "Complete Mix."

SPLIT TRAX CD is a stereo recording that is playable on any audio system. It can be used as the full accompaniment for your program. The left and right channels on an audio system allow the levels to be adjusted for either full instrumentation and/or full choral vocals. The left channel has the complete accompaniment with full orchestration and the right channel has the recording of the full choral vocals, omitting any solos.

Suggestion: Split Trax CD is great for rehearsal also because you can use more of the vocals when learning the music and less as you get closer to the presentation.

DIRECTOR'S RESOURCE KIT is a helpful 3-ring notebook providing detailed information for your teaching needs. Included in this notebook are pages for rehearsal and program planning, kickoff ideas, audition and casting suggestions, production notes, choreography and musical teaching tools. Reproducible pages for teaching, activities for choir members and scripture memory cards are also included. "The Big Trip" DVD is included in this Kit.

"THE BIG TRIP" DVD shows an actual presentation of the musical by the Children's Choirs of Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN. The viewing of this 35 minute performance will assist directors and choir members with ideas for the set, drama and choreography.

This DVD also serves as an evangelistic tool, presenting the Gospel to audiences young and old.

Suggestion: Although this DVD shows "The Big Trip" being performed by a 100 member choir, the musical can be performed in a small, simplistic fashion. Also, the setting of the musical (an airport) can be adapted to fit any culture. Other possible settings for "The Big Trip" are: a ship in a shipyard, train at train station, or group of people walking along trail.
