Christmas and 2007 Blessings
from Kids’ Evangelism Explosion North America

“Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near.” (Isaiah 55:6)

The Lord has blessed indeed this past year; and we thank you for your prayers and support. May this Christmas Season and 2007 be one filled with joy and gratitude as we are mindful of the eternal life we have through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ministry News: In 2006, we trained 182 adults in our week-long Leadership Clinics. (We were blessed to have 12 families included in these clinics.) These teachers are now actively teaching Kids’ EE in their churches and communities throughout North America … and the UK.

Yes, God provided further ministry expansion, allowing us to lead the first Kids’ EE Leadership Clinic for England and Wales. This teaching team in the UK is strong, vibrant and moving forward training others.

Also, doors in the Caribbean opened to Kids’ EE in 2006, as 86 adults were trained to teach Kids’ EE. We are praying for 500 to be trained (in 2007) from approximately 10 of the English-speaking Caribbean nations.

A complete revision of all Kids’ EE curriculum was accomplished. This was a God-sized task for our team. We thank Him for allowing so many to be a part of this work. All materials will be available by January 15.

Another set of materials was developed for nations that need simplified curriculum and “language-free” materials for translation. Our creative graphic artists did a fine job working with us. Already we have heard from each continent as they share their delight with this work. You can view and download some of the items on our website at www.kidsee.org/resources.

Speaking of the website, you must visit it! The Kids’ EE Musical with sample songs, our animated Gospel tract, numerous resources to download, and archived newsletters that share ideas for teaching children are some of the items on the website. By January 15, all new materials will be featured there also.

We receive testimonies from so many of our teachers, sharing how the Gospel is flowing through children -- to parents, grandparents, friends, and strangers. We thank our Lord that He has given us the opportunity to give children a language of faith, one that strengthens their own faith, and equips them to share with others. We praise God for safe travels and abundant training opportunities in 2006. It is hard to imagine how all of this fit together in a short 12 months. This was only by God’s grace. We praise our Lord for sustaining and energizing us. He is our strength and our stronghold.
