Kids' EE class at Westgate Chapel (Toledo, OH) created this Valentine craft to share the Gospel with others.

This valentine includes Kids' EE "Gospel in a Nutshell" which contains the essential truths of our faith in Jesus. We call it "The Heart of the Gospel."

Children are encouraged to share the Gospel with others by using this valentine craft.

Gospel in a Nutshell:

Jesus is God.
He came from Heaven to earth,
lived a perfect life,
died on the cross to pay for our sins,
was buried and rose from the dead on the third day,
and is in Heaven now offering us the free gift of eternal life.

Hand motions for each key word or phrase:

Jesus (hands stretched out to side)
Is God (hands straight up above head)
He came from Heaven (hands above head pushing up)
To earth (lower hands making a big circle)
Lived a perfect life (hand in front with thumbs up)
Died on the cross (make Jesus motion described above)
To pay for our sins (rub fingers together while arms are outstretched)
Was buried (stoop down)
And rose from the dead on the third day (stand up with 3 fingers lifted)
And is in Heaven now (make Heaven motion described above)
Offering us the free gift of eternal life (bring hands down and together as if receiving a gift)
