Kids’ EE
Vision Statement for Evangelism and Discipleship within the Caribbean
God
has called Kid’s EE to the Caribbean to train adults to
WIN kids to Christ, GROUND them in their faith, and EQUIP them
to share
Jesus.
Facts
about the Caribbean --
- There are 28 nations in the Caribbean; most
are English-speaking.
- Kids’ EE held two Leadership Training
Clinics in 2006 … Trinidad
(May) and St. Vincent (July).
- 86 teachers from 54 churches,
from 4 nations were trained in Kids’ EE
(Trinidad, St. Vincent, Barbados and Guyana). During OJT
(sharing the Gospel), over 300 people prayed to receive
Christ as Savior.
- We anticipate 6-10 Leadership clinics
in 2007 throughout the Caribbean
nations. In addition to week-long clinics, 1-2 day workshop
opportunities abound.
- Public schools have religious instruction
during the school day; thus we need to train their volunteers
and teachers in Kids’ EE.
God has opened doors in the
Caribbean. He is reaching impoverished people with the
Gospel. But there is so much more to
do. Kids’ EE needs financial
support to be obedient to God’s command to “make
disciples” in
all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Is God calling you to
support Kids’ EE?
We know through Scripture that when God calls people
to ministry, He raises up the support they need.
So we acknowledge our trust in Him AND our faith
in His disciples.
70% of children are born into
non-Christian homes … 30% of the world’s
population is under the age of 15 … Nearly
50% of all Americans who accept Jesus as Savior
do so before reaching age 13.
Our Vision for Evangelism and Discipleship within the Caribbean
By Don and Carla Thompson
We will join with our heavenly Father,
in His work of raising children and adults to become
world-visionary,
world-impacting
disciples of
Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:19 says, “Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy
Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
that I have commanded you.”
Our vision
is to obey and do precisely what Jesus
commands us to do, make disciples
capable
of
making new disciples.
We see this to be
accomplished through Kids’ EE Clinics and workshops,
and building relationships within the
Caribbean. Using a series of clinics, we will train teachers
to implement
Kids’ EE in their churches and
equip leaders to become clinic teachers.
Our
goal is that each island nation in the Caribbean will be
fully equipped
to have
their own clinic
teachers that
are able
to train
teachers. We also
pray these teachers will have a heart
for multiplying their efforts by making
disciples
of all nations.
We believe that follow
up and discipling of new Christians is essential in making
world-impacting,
world-visionary
disciples of Jesus Christ!
This takes
an investment of time!
We are willing
to invest our time for our Father’s Kingdom to come!
Please
pray how God may use YOU to provide training for thousands
who will equip kids to share their faith. Be mindful … When
we reach kids, we reach parents and grandparents.
If God is urging you to be
a part of the Great Commission through
Kids’ EE
in the Caribbean, please contact
us immediately … We believe
that God’s
plan begins in 2007. Let us not
tarry in reaching the lost for
Jesus!
